Buy Buy Buy Buy Buy!
Well, we did lots of shopping and eating in KL tat its almost sinful. *nods* yea, it is.
Actually the bulk of the shopping was done by me but the trip's blown a hole in silly goat's pocket.. and mine too. *blushes*
I actually enjoyed the cheap currency which allows u to stay in a good hotel for a reasonable price. Stayed in Royale Bintang- and Park Royal for our last nite there. This experience surely beats staying in cheap hostels in bunk beds in the dorms. *frown*
Okok, so u're interested in wat we bought:
1.mainstream and non-mainstream dvds which weren't in good quality- a bit sad though
2.two work long sleeve shirts by this brand Communique at Isetan. This brand i must promote to u gals really, coz it has nothing but lots and lots of long sleeve shirts- the style tat i like, for work. They have so much patterns and so reasonable price (RM79 each) tat i had to restrict myself to only get two..
3.my RM104 black backpack which isn't super large (the height comes up to my neck only) but its really a darling and beauty and i love the compartment inside which allows the bag to be segmented into two parts when i need it.
4. bought a book to attempt to read on my way home on the cozy coach back. The book we finally settled down with, was called Middlesex- about a gal/boy who had sex change- tat's about all i know, coz i didnt manage to go beyond the first 10 pages of the book in the coach.
5.other things
Satisfied my craving for Ramly burger- though i must say, if there were one more burger in front of me, i would definitely eat it.
Wat was interesting was tat we were eating at this hawker street (think its called Food Street) where they sell in the style of Newton ( only way cheaper). We were approached by this little 5-year-old boy paddling tissue papers, in his pj. When he approached us, he actually didn't say anything, but was singing a tune to himself, as though he was immersed with his little own world and going about gesturing if we would want to buy some tissues. So cute, so poor thing, we thought. Then along came another gal of same age selling the same ware in the same modus operandi. Then we assumed that this was probably some syndicate selling kid's innocence and pity. We weren't surprised if their parents were rich and watching them from a car in a distant.
The next night, we walked our way down tat street and happened to see the same little boy walking down doing his sales. He was as usual jumpy and cheery as he walked around the tables. Then being the intuitive smart alecs, while waiting for our delicious yet unhygenic Ramly burgers, we decided to see if we could spot the parents. What luck- we spotted a lady walking and looking around a distance from the boy and had the strong gut feeling that she might be looking out for the kid. Guess wat? Our guess was right! Cos we caught her sneaking a peek at the boy, and the boy sneaking a look at a possible mummy. Then, as we continued to tail them without being caught, we confirmed our suspicions.
Ironically, we didn't really know wat to say of the results of our paparazzi- glad tat the kid wasn't sent to do the work alone without supervision, or that he was there in the first place. But i was glad tat we managed to sniff out the supervising mummy amongst the many people there.
So what say, you buy the tissues from the little cute kid?

Woman, the gal/guy person in the novel middlesex is an hermaphrodite. He/She was born with both genders and trying to decide which sex to be. :)
