The Missing Scenes from Spanish Oral
There's just too much to tell u all, about the proceedings at the spanish oral exam last thursday, so I'll just fill in with this "missing scene" in the oral exam. Its missing, because, it should have been in the oral exam but was eventually taken out at the last minute. The two leads had spent a good amount of time devising this scene, which regretedly, was not acted out tat day. Alas! Enjoy.
SceneI
The scene opens just outside the spanish oral exam room, at 11.40plus in the morning. Ernie and Jean enters the room, with Glenn seated at the exam table.
Jean suddenly rolls unto the floor, in an unassuming fit. Both Ernie and Glenn were shocked.
Ernie: (exclaims)Qué te pasa? No te encuentras bien? [ translation: what's the matter with you, you dun find yourself well?]
Jean:(speaks in excruciating pain)Estoy resfriado.. Me duele muchissimo la cabeza. [translation: I've a cold. My head hurts very much]
Ernie: Ay, ay. Quieres un calmante? O quieres una asprina? [translation: Ay, ay, you want a tranquilizer? or you want an asprin?]
Jean does not answer and continues rolling about in pain.
Ernie: Dios mio! Vamos a la hospital ahora! Adios Glenn! [ translation: My God! lets go to the hospital at once! See ya Glenn!]
Ernie drags Jean out of the room immediately.
The scene ends with Glenn still sitting at the exam table, baffled at what had happened, and scratches his head.
Blackout
-fin-
Needless to say, we had fun at spanish oral. (lets not talk about grades) It was the most interesting exam which lasted only 20 minutes, yet takes 2 hours before tat to calm the nerves (and trust me- we were a total nervous wreck the hour before the exam), and 24 hours later to ease the trauma the brain had to go through. (lets not talk about grades)
Ended our spanish adventure with Spanglish, the movie- which was the perfect graduating film to our spanish education here.
