cos we are living in a Material World, and i am a Material Girl
Another spending spree on wednesday with HF and BLest. Again, whenever i go shopping with people, i always end up the one buying the most:
-bought MP3/thumbdrive at school roadshow:[until now i still havent figure out how to turn it off... might resort to removing battery to prevent battery drainage-yikes]:($109)
-went to spanish tourist office to get maps of Madrid and Barcelona: [tat nice español chica gave us one big heavy bag which we all had to take turns to carry along all around orchard- i happily ignore the fact tat HF was carrying it for a long while even though she's not in EUR101 -tat's how heavy it was]:(maps free*phew*)
-stopped by Zara (pronounce: Sa-ra, en español)bought a cool jacket, the kind tat i've been eyeing:[BSM spain has taught me, which HF kindly reminded me, that Zara does not believe in sales and discounts and their turnover is very fast- ie. now u see it, now u dun.] ($89.90)
-then come the real purpose for the outing- to buy spanish supplementary books. ($50 for both verb and practice books)
It was quite very enjoyable coz i managed to get the two things tat have been on my want list for so long. BLest friend was so trusting of me tat she paid for the MP3player since i had no cash and my POSB is dry. I seriously thought that she was willing to be my sugar mummy. *insert frown here* hahaha..
-berl was commenting that i have so many levi's jeans and i told her the last few pairs were on discount. Anyway, since i'm going for the Europe trip, i had planned to travel in a Levi's which would be warm and thick and presentable enough. Plus, they are a necessity, not a luxury good in my usage. oh well.
The greatest thing tat brightened my day, was that FIRST praise that i received from her. Goodness, you dunno how tat really made me feel. Coming from her somemore. Hahaha...
Keep them com'in!
All these, to make my yearning, less painful through the day: ( priceless )
