Yonder and Beyond
This is the poem for my yearbook page. Yikes, to be published, seems to add additional stress as compared to blog publication only.
But hey! If the meadow likes it and say its good, who else is to comment?
Yonder and Beyond
Oh! How I'll miss the Grand O' Dame!
Its splendour in serene opulence.
From its mundane little corners,
bears lovely memories mine to keep;
Tucked in the treasure cove,
Awaiting to burst forth with eyes shut.
Federal does harbour the breakfast that we had,
Me and my BLest friend, with an aerial view to awe.
Empty rooms on the grounds of Business,
Shall bear witness to memorable emotion.
Distant Evans bore the cold, dark Black Box,
Where passion was to intensify.
Here there, everywhere,
Traces i have left;
Off away, i shall go,
To the yearning meadow,
Yonder and beyond!
