Alone Again, Naturally
Almost one whole week havent updated blog.... Its stressful week for ple around me coz of work and projects, so ernie must update to keep up everyone's spirits. Hahaha, ernie no goody-two-shoes.
Well, if i have time to blog before sunday, tat means i'm already letting down Sheryl. That poor nice gal, i think she'll think seriously again if she'll ever wanna do project with me again. Wat's wrong with you man? *piak* dun you ever learn? One by one, you're chasing people away... NO I WONT! I WONT disappoint her, no worries!! I've enough of disappointing people! NO MORE, por favor!?
Anyhow, what that has a start, must always have an end. Its the circle of life. Ohhhmmmmm So since i started in stageit with an audition (a failed one), i'll end my time officially here, with an audition as well. Slotted myself into the audition today and it ain't tat bad...
Patty said ernie improved the acting(Wat acting?)since STTD (there wasnt much tat i did to start with) and singing- well, it drew smiles on everyone's face( are those smiles? or laughters?) But personally, other than failing to reach the high pitch many times, i LoVeD my singing today actually! Sang one of BLest friend's song Alone Again, Naturally and the other song, I Get a Kick Out of You. eh? BLest friend ask me to sing the former to her, i end up singing to a bunch of dingdongs?? Awww... the high pitch!!! cant reach!!! only screech!! Sigh, and tat new SM (YES, new SM, me not SM) shoved tat video camera in my face, i couldnt even see the directors lah, can only see the video cam right smack centre in my face... Wat the hell.
Well, tat hilarious sing-cant-reach-must-screech video segment is definitely going down in stageit's history... Every Xmas gathering, every post production party, every alumni gathering.. they'll sit and gather in celebration of the sing-cant-reach-must-screech woman. Note to myself: gotta lay my hands on tat recording first.
Seriously, i really improving singing since STTD lah, and i did it with confidence and emotions... Hahhahha... Before the audition, i actually did a wacky-synching version of The Hungry Years, with actions a la S'pore's William Hung. And read the script offhand in awful singlish-whiny accent (usual me)Tat was on purpose lah, wacky parodies.. I love parodies...They threatened to shove me out..Hmmf
Anyhow, the whole feeling today is so different from two years ago - then, i didnt know a single face, this time, its to a bunch of friends, and some new faces whom i think i've helped groomed(i think). Naturally, its more comfortable and fun. I actually didnt need to do this, i just wanted to do audition one more time, with them- coz i know i'll enjoy it.
During scene improvisation, Patty and Sebby tried to protect me when they felt tat i'd be uncomfortable. Thanx darlings. I know you all care about me, seriously really really touched. Am i really tat tender tat i cant handle it? Hahaha.. you should have heard about wat happened to me during tat German Lecturer's acting workshop with Ama...Sigh
Let me grow- even if its going to be painful pain, let it come onto me.
